Hard Times in Hornsville is a sandbox time management game focusing on adult themes, including several fetishes.
The game is focused on player choice and interaction. Compared to similar games the descriptions are shorter but can vary significantly depending on the players looks, statistics and previous decisions. The content is highly modular, separate pairings and fetishes can be accessed independently from each other. You can become a headstrong, dominant transwoman with a huge dick or a freakishly muscular but meek man working as a submissive housemaid.
The game currently contains more than 350k characters (about 70k words) worth of text, over 50 3D rendered images and a dynamic player avatar.
This release is considered an alpha state of the game with about 1/3 to 1/5 of the planned content ready.
Big Content Update 09.19:
This is our biggest update yet, close to half a million characters worth. It consists of:
Alltogether:
- 500k characters (about 100 000 words) of written content
- 36 new images
- The phone, a completely new tool to the game
- 2 New locations
- 16 new, sexable NPCs
- Helen's storyline extended
- Lily's dating scenes extended and reworked
- Dave got a new scene
Gamification (PATRONS ONLY)
- Skills are now harder to increase and more important overall.
- Sex skills are increased by having the appropriate type of sex multiple times.
- Certain places have a dresscode and require you to wear the appropriate clothing to enter.
- Dating Lily and Dave got more complicated but hopefully more rewarding.
- Introducing the phone! Now you can keep track of your contacts and even call some of them if it's needed.
- Introducing the Gift shop: buying things for certain NPCs is needed to advance their storyline
- Introducing the Casino: a chance to earn some money if you are lucky, a chance to earn some money by cheating (unless you get caught...) and a chance to meet some very friendly NPCs
- Introducing Hornsville's main plot! What could be that mysterious app be that you find installed onto your phone?
Whoring 101 (chosen by the community PATRONS ONLY)
- If you are experienced with sex enough you can now earn some money by selling your body. Not all clients are pleasant though. Maybe take care not to be seen as a cheap whore to avoid the really nasty ones.
- If you want to hire whores instead you can look for a pimp who will get you anyone your heart desires. It only costs a little extra...
- Do you have a submissive who adores you and hangs on your every word? Why not send them out to the Red Light district to earn some money for you?
This of course also means that the contents of the previous update became available for everyone. These include:

All important NPCs have an encounter here, some have more than one. Encounters can be one-off things or they can open new opportunities elsewhere in the story.

Fetishes include almost everything we have in the game so far + voyeurism
2.: Make me do it - the forced transformation paths (chosen by the community EVERYONE)
Three pre-existing storylines gained new routes. Once you go down on them you can't opt out until you finish them.
